Nvidia DDS...new question

DarkDude28:
Alright. I'll try that and I have been doing them one at a time.

What if I can't export anyway?

*Gives Vampyre a tray of his favorite cookies* thanks man.

Edit: AHHHA I got it work *does happy dance* Wooooo

More cookies for all that helped.

Vampyre:
If you can't then the nag wasn't just a nag.

No big deal.

I'd try beginning with something pretty common.

If you end up with extracted .png files you  know you made it.

One exception would be the alpha on the flamingo light.  They will extract ok.

The flamingo light can't be recolored that I know of.

I have been using the dds utilities all along without a problem with my NVIDIA card, but it's an older card.

Looks like they have rewritten the utilities, and I doubt that it would work with my card.

If you are in the same or similar shape as me, you might want their older utilities download which you can get by scrolling to the bottom here:

I just want to mention that you don't have to have a NVIDIA card to use the dds utilities. I have an ATI card and I've had the dds utilities installed for use with SimPE for ages.

Vampyre:
Shows what can happen when you only have one brand long enough.

I wouldn't have expected the Wizard only to work for NVIDIA graphics cards though.

Sleepycat:
I know nothing about the wizard... I haven't bothered to learn how to recolor furniture and stuff.

before I downloaded & installed the dds utilities (ages back) I had to ask to see if it would work even though I had a ATI card. I thought other people might not know since theres seems to be many new people around here these days.
