Automaticly pause game when entering lot option?

Is there a way to set up so when i enter any lot it would automatically go pause mode?

I'm not in front of the computer most of the time. I usually click on my sims lot and go do something else while it loads, like making dinner or being on the phone. I don't want anything happening to my sims while i'm away. I know by the time i come back to my computer, I expect my lot to be ready to play and not come back finding my sims playing on their own.

The only thing I can think of is if you pause the game before you save and exit. When you re-enter the lot it should load still in pause mode. It works for me.

I find that enabling game tips (before entering the lot) does the job, might take a sim hour though.

just pause before you save and quit the Lot. I do it all the time.
