seasons patch?

I recently downloaded the patch for seasons from thesims2.com but ever since, I can't get into the game. It says something about putting the right CD in the drive when my sims seasons CD is in the CD-drive already. I even tried putting in the CDs to the other EP's in the drive but they didn't work either. I can't think of anything else to try, so is there any way to uninstall the patch from the game?

I've noticed that it's been a few days and nobody has replied to this post. Can this even be done?!

When you downloaded the Seasons Patch, did you download the one for CD/DVD or the downloaded version of Seasons?  I'm guessing the patch for the downloaded Seasons would not accept your CD to start the game with.

There's no way to uninstall a patch.  You'd have to uninstall Seasons, then reinstall it.  But if you download and install the patch for the CD/DVD game again, you may solve your problem without an EP resinstall.

I did install the CD/DVD patch like you said. So, I went to the site and reinstalled it. But, it didn't work =(.

I suppose I'll just have to reinstall seasons.
