Transfering downloads to Different Computer!!!

Hi, my internet connection on my laptop doesnt work and thats where I play my sims 2 games, and i was wondering if someone could tell me a way to download items on my pc for the game and transfer them to my laptop so that the custom content could show in the game. do you have a flash drive or something of that sort that you could put th files on from your computer? If not I'm sure that the small ones don't cost very much.

Or if you didn't have aflash drive you could save stuff on to dvds if you desktop computer has a dvd burner, this way you will also have backups

um, idk but I bout some discs and I think I can burn the dowloads then upload it to my laptop. thankss
