How to you use the body shop?

I really want to start to make my own custon sims and meshes, but I have no idea how to use the body shop...I've tried before with no sucess. Can someone please give me a quick run down?

It's not letting me visit the site but you go here, sims2cri.com and click on tutorials up at the top. Then you should see it on there. Uhm, tell me if you still need help. Then I'll try to walk you through it.
