I need some house help please :(

I downloaded a custom house which said it required nightlife sims2 and university. I have all 3 installed. I try to use the sim pack installer and it tells me I dont have the expansion data it requires and I am unsure where to paste the house file manually. This is when I run university. Any help is greatly appreciated ty

Try using the clean installer that can be found here, it should solve your problem:
