Do you have some sort of cheat that allows more than 8 sims on a lot? The standard game limit is 8 sims per lot. Without a cheat the game *should* stop you from exceeding that limit.

I'm guessing your problem lies with whatever is allowing you to have more than the set game limit and not with the Trips & Quads mod.

i got the lotfullofsims mod. I am way pass the maxis limit of 8. I will soon have 20 sims in the lot. the 12 babies i had at once are now all toddlers.
