Sims wanting to drink other Sims

So I thought it was a one time occurence, some weird glitch in my game from my hacks.

But it happened to one of my friends last night.

Basically the wants come up with the Sim desiring to drink another Sim.  I screenshot it for explanation.  Is it even possible?  And how would they do it?

The cowplant would eat Beth, then the Sim with the want would go drink Beth's essence.  Never tried it tho!

Yes...the cowplant you get as a career reward for the Natural Science career in Uni will start eating sims who get to close to its lure (a piece of cake) when it gets hungry...
It's udder will fill with the "life essence" of the deceased sim... then whoever drinks it gains three days of extra life (like the "elixir of life" reward)

Do you have to have gold aspiration when you drink the life essence?  That's part of the reason I never tried it.

LoL.  I am soooo trying that at some point.  It would be helpful in getting rid of his wife's girlfriends (one of whom is the Beth he wants to drink).

It's usually advisable you make sure your sims aspiration is at least gold before trying any aspiration reward object, or some not-so-nice things can happen.

You don't have to have gold aspiration for this. Its a career object. Theres the ups and downs for the Elixer of Life and the Cowplant

Actually, you do. I had a sim who was on the low side of green drink the life essence of another sim who'd gotten eaten by the cow plant, and subsequently lost days rather than gained it.
