When you wonder why the task manager doesn't appear.  Then you realize you've been pressing ctrl, shift, c instead of ctrl, alt, del.  2blush

I do that. XD
And also I was searching for something on the internet once and hit CTRL-SHIFT-C instead of CTRL-F. :|

You know you've been playing sims too much when you start wondering if your obsession about having cheese sandwiches for breakfast is a bad thing...

You know you've played sims too long when you've fallen asleep in front of the computer again, taking a short catnap while doing pics for a story...

You know you're obsessed with sims when you make a new chapter for your sims story plus make new stuff for the game, instead of doing homework...

You know you're a sims fanatic when you're a 3D student swearing to yourself that in a few years you can do a MUCH better job than EA when it comes to animation...

err...wait a minute...

Stelio Kontos:
You know you've been playing the Sims 2 too much when it becomes necessary to post a thread about ways to tell you've been playing it for too long.

DaSpecial1:
When your kids have a sim fight and it takes you a minute to realize they're teasing you.

Last year they came into my room & started out poking (which should have given me a clue) then did the throw your hands up motion (like sims do to scare the other person into thinking they're going to sock them--sounds included) I was busy saying the obligatory "ok you two none of that", while half paying attention & didn't catch the joke--until the slapping motions (one slap immediately following the other just like the game) and by the time they did "attack" I was roflol.  The little monsters.
