Squinge made an easy break-up mod, I am using it and it works fine, just make sure to make the sim you want to stay in the house break-up with the other.

That mod can be found here, you need Nightlife ep or higher to be able to use it:   EP2 required:Easier Break Up


If you do not want any of them to leave the house, you can use this mod along with it:  EP2 required: no move out after breaking up
