Can't divorce!

So I decided I wanted a couple to divorce but there was no option to divorce or break up in the sims menu.  I had one move out of the house but they're still shown as married.  Is there any way to get a divorce without having one sim cheat?  I'd really rather not have the hostility involved in that.

Their relationships have to go down enough in order for the divorce option to appear, so yeah...there will be some hostility involved. There's no way to have an amicable divorce in the game without resorting to a cheat of some sort. I think, though, there should be a way to do it with the insimenator.

Ah okay, their relationship is still pretty good so that's why it wouldn't show up.  Thanks alot.

Have them argue, fight and argue some more. Eventually the option will show up.

Or go the quick method and have one catch the other cheating.  The actual option name for divorce is Break Up.

Squinge made an easy break-up mod, I am using it and it works fine, just make sure to make the sim you want to stay in the house break-up with the other.

If you do not want any of them to leave the house, you can use this mod along with it:  EP2 required: no move out after breaking up
