when i upload a photo it says invalid file

i have built some houses and i wanted to upload some pictures with the houses but it keeps comming up as invalid file. can some one tell me why this is happening and how to fix this.

I am not sure but this thread here may be helpful. Good luck and I can't wait to see your pics.

EDIT: How are you saving your pics? Try saving them as a jpg. If it is a bitmap I don't believe the site allows that.

If you're trying to upload a .bmp file, that could be the problem. I don't think the  board allows them now. Convert it to a .jpg or a .png and it should work.

sorry but i don't know how to convert them. how would i do it?

Load your picture with a picture program like photoshop or even the paint program coming with Windows.  Then use the option "save as", at the bottom of the screen it will ask you in which format you wish to save the picture.
