Hot tub that never ends

Open the cheatbox and type "moveobjects on", then go into buy mode and delete the sims you want out of the hot tub. Save and exit to the neighborhood, then reenter the household and the sims will be waiting for you by the mailbox. :)

Caffeinated.joy is right. I used to get that a lot with love tub. Very frustrating. You may consider replacing love tub every now and then (i.e. following 4th use, including visitors/guests independent uses as well). It worked for me, my sims never get stuck in love tub any more.
