"default plantsim" on modified Louis Skin/more vines

These modified Louis skins have been coded to replace your default plantsims. They have vines covering the entire body. They are an improvement over the ones I attached to another plantsim thread dated 6/09/07. The green is more brilliant, the eyes are updated and these skins are now completely barbie. I removed everything including the belly button because they are plants they don't have  belly buttons.

You need the Seasons EP for the default skins to work.

Updated 8/26/07 The skin file has been replaced with a better version. I added lipstick to the face file as I could find no lipsticks that fit well with these skintones. I also did a few other improvements. The pictures shown have the plantsims wearing no additional make up or eyebrows.at all.



The DEFAULT "rar" file (contains both green and brown wilt defaults). You need to download both for your plantsim to maintain these vines. The brown wilt skin will show when the plantsim is unhealthy.

The feet have been modified to work with Bloom's Sexy feet replacements.

The vines are the same ones as from my original plantsim thread and are courtesy of PHLOX73 at deviantart.com.
Policy: Even though this creation uses Phox73's vines and Louis' recolored skin, the idea to put them all together and the vine artwork arrangements are mine. Please do not copy.

The female does not have any maxis eyebrows on her. I removed them so you could see what she looked like without the default maxis ones (they were brown). In fact, the female and male have no makeup at all on them. The Louis skins have something like eyebrows on the faces but I smoothed them out for these skins so they are more of a shadow existing to show the brow line rather than actual eyebrows. Do you think they would look better without the shadowing?

I was speaking about this shadowing when I asked about eyebrows. I thought they were like in Louis original skintone (and I don’t really like the eyebrows on it) but I’ve seen only your screenshots then. Now, I looked at your skins in game and the shadowing doesn’t disturb when eyebrows are on, and it looks nice when you don’t use them, so I think it’s nice to let them where they are.
BTW thanks to your skins I’ve discovered that plantsims change eyes when they’re plants. I didn’t know it before!!  I need to do a version without eye replacement, or at least with different ones ‘coz mine are using Louis original skin eyes and they don’t look too good with that green or brown shade. I love yours, they’re so full of color! Really pretty!
