everybody's sims look fantastic! yaaay Lindsay!!

what i want to know is, when did the definition of "emo" change? does anyone remember the first season of the OC? Seth Cohen was considered to be an "emo-geek" and they called him that on the show. and i remember when Dashboard Confessional first came out, that was "emo music".... what happened?

Helena-Chan:
Vampgurl; I don't know what 'emo' is anymore either. Hm...I have heard it's just a hairstyle and some tight pants; others disagree and say it's a goddam lifestyle. I can understand the first but the second is rather vague. I have heard punk is a lifestyle as is preppy so that doesn't help at all.

When emo became more popular, I knew what it was but now...I am not so sure.

Some people in my surroundings say I am an 'emo kid', others say, "No you aren't."

I guess it's all a view of perspective and what they/you think 'emo' is.

Defintions don't really help me because I have seen 'emotional'; well, then aren't we all this so-called 'emo', except for those who say they don't have any emotion whatsoever?

vampgurl3000:
geez, you confused me even more now! lol... i seriously feel like an out of date old woman now! i'm sure i can just ask my sis next time i talk to her. she's still in high school so i'm sure she's up on this stuff...
