Have you updated your DirectX and video card drivers recently?  That may help out with the red flashing.  Wink

Depending on the type of video card you have, you can go to the maker's site and download driver updates that are compatible to you computer.  In order to check which type of card you have:

1.)  Go to Start, then click on "Run"

2.)  Type in dxdiag in the "Open" box

3.)  When the DirectX Diagnostics Box comes up, click on the "Display" tab, and you should find what type of video card your computer has in the box to the top left corner.

Then you can look up the company's website and find driver updates for your video card.  Wink

The latest DirectX 9.0c is available at this link here.

As for the graphics card issue, you'd have to do two things:

1) You'd have to open up your computer case (on or off- it shouldn't matter) and take a look at the make and model of your motherboard then google it for information on the graphics card slot type.
2) Look for the brand of the CPU.  In the most basic terms, that's the thing that you put your game disc in.  Then either google "graphic cards for x" or call customer service or something along those lines.  DO NOT look at your computer monitor for the make and model of your PC being that the monitor is detachable and can be used on any machine.

I hope that helps.  As for me, I use an ATI Radon 9550.
