Hi all,

I have a rather serious problem with one of my Sims. She is frozen after I cancel her current action. She is playing the piano and when I cancel it and have her do something else, she stops and thats it.

She is stuck in some loop and would not exit. That is she is still sitting on the piano stool but does not nothing. I tried using another sim to interact with her but that does not help. I have seen it happen once or twice but managed to "fix" it and exiting and reloading the household. This time it does not work. So is there anyway to reset her ?

Thanks.

Enable boolprop testingcheatsanabled true and force an error on her and press reset, see if that works! remember to take the cheat off before you leave the lot though.

Problem partially solved. This time there was a window behind her which may have blocked her from leaving. Strange it did not stopped her from playing the piano in the first place.

I will keep the boolprop solution in mind in case if it happens again somewhere else.

Many thanks.

Its okay, also you could put "moveobjects on" and remove the piano altogether which may solve your problem fully!

You can actually pick up your sims and move them with "moveobjects on".

I did pick up the sim with moveObjects on but she was still stuck in a pose.

type noveobjects on and delete your sim, save game, exit lot to neighbourhood, then reload your game, your sim will be waiting at the mailbox, i tried this and it worked for me
