what type of clothes and appliance and cars would you like to see in the sims3
-Little-CJ-:
I'd probably like different houses, like flats because they aren't easy to build on the sims 2 without CC, I can't get CC on my sims 2 at my mums, so I would like a different style of blank lots.

Sims 3?? I am still waiting on some good stuff for the Sims 2! Of course I really don't expect much, the company has shown it's true color; Green! My Green backs, and every one else's who buys their lame idea of fun and crude humor. Thanks to the talented modders who make the Sims 2 playable! -Bill

sims looking like real pepole and being able to shop for their grocerys not calling and waiting for delevery
You can send them shopping for groceries. There's a place in pleasantview, as well as some of the downtowns that have grocery bins or whatever set up. I'm not sure about veronaville and strangetown since I don't play them. You send them to the community lot, click on the bin (it's yellow and looks like it's got produce in it), and choose how much you want to buy. The food goes into their inventory for you to stock when you get home, or leave it there until you need it.
In the states, though, there are grocery delivery services. Right off the top of my head, the only one I can think of is PeaPod. You pick what you want from their website, they deliver the food to you. I think people who live in downtown areas use it the most since there aren't too many grocery stores around. Besides, it's kinda hard to bring home a months worth of groceries on public transportation. Many people who live downtown don't own cars since everything is really close or a bus/train ride away.

I have to agree with Pierreandreply, the shopping isin't very realistic anyway, who takes one thing from a freezer, buys it, and stocks an ENTIRE fridge. And mayber more realistic cooking, buy ingredients themselves! But, as for appliances, I WANT AN OVERHEAD MICROWAVE!!!
Almost every single house I've been to has one of these, granted counter microwaves are probably more common in apartments and dorms, but they are still not the only kinds of microwaves in EXISTANCE, get it through your thick skull EAxis!
For cars, I can't say much, maybe more realistic ones, or customizeable features, like I want a sun roof on a Caddilac but I want... blah blah blah (etc.).
Back to appliances, a going back to the grocery shopping and more realistic cooking PANTRIES are a must for realisim, and also for better cooking, make recipies! have people BUY BOOKS and find new things, and perhaps customizeable ones too! I'd also like to see divided sinks, one for washing and drying dishes (it doesn't have to be functional just realistic looking!)

I think if shopping were more realistic, it'd be much more of a hassle. If a fridge has a capacity of 300, and each food had 1 capacity point or whatever, you'd be filling up forever. I may be biased, but shopping isn't really a pleasurable experience for me. Particularly with people hogging the choices cuts of meat. Seriously! This lady was holding on the 4 STEAKS! And she didn't even buy them!
But I digress....
The recipes would also seriously complicate things. Then when you go shopping, you'd have to go and look for individual items, and you'd be spending a lot of time going through all the shelves and bins, and freezers picking up a bunch of things. Then, would everything have different prices? Would some things be worth more than others? That's way too close to real shopping for me. Creating custom foods would now be creating a recipe, the food, the ingredients, the prices...
About the microwaves, though, I don't think sims can reach that high. And you can request a realistic looking pantry. Or would you want it to update it's looks depending on what you have in there? Another thing to add to creating custom content.
