Well, if you are using the in-game camera that's part of your problem right there. Step away from the in game camera and no one gets hurt. It really reduced the quality of your images. At the very least, use your PrtScn key, though even better is to use an external screen capture program. I use Gadwin Print Screen (free) but there are lots of others out there. Another popular one is Fraps. You can choose a can as you screen cap key and just run the program in the background. It's better than PrtScn because it stores the images for you in a folder as you take them, and with PrtScn you have minimize out the game to past the image every time you use it.
There are, of course, other factors. The better your graphics cards, the better your image. Many people will sharpen their pictures to one degree or another.

No problem. And, just to clarify one of my massively mixed up sentences there, you can choose a print screen key to use and just run the program in the background. When you're ready to take a picture, hit the key your assigned and voila. Just make sure the one you pick isn't one already used for something else by the game. ;)
