Help with GIMP

I don't know if it goes in this part or not . BUt I need help with GIMP and I have read the tu ,but my sim seem to move with the whole background instead of just the sim, any help please :reindeer:

Me2, I've already linked to a tutorial that should explain it all in the Photoshop Tutorials thread in the Contest Central.
If you look around on that thread, there's been a few questions about the tutorial too, which (as far as i know) have all been answered in the thread.
