The story takes place in the serene oceanside town of Hymns.  The town started as a exclusive coastal resort for the super rich, but gained its infamy when "Pirates of the Caribbean 4" was shot there.  Even though this
sequel was never completed the film's young stars, Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom ended up buying property there, and later moved there when their careers started fizzling in favour of younger stars.

THE BLOOM/CORVINUS CLAN
With two big name ex-stars now living there ordinary people also started taking notice and started flooding in, and staying, amazed by the beauty and splendor this land offered... Keira and Orlando were great friends, but it stayed at that...Orlando didn't want a relationship...and Keira eventually married Owen Corvinus. A rich, handsome millionaire.  Owen's sister Charisma moved to town after her divorce and it wasn't long before Orlando, finally realizing his love for Keira now that he couldn't have her anymore, started chasing after her.  Charisma of course was bowled over by all his attention, and later they too married.  Keira Corvinus had two children by Owen, and Orlando had a daughter with Charisma, Kate Bloom. Yet after all this, Orlando and Keira's love couldn't be quenched, and one night they finally got together...alone in the hottub.  When Keira's belly started to show everyone assumed the baby to be Owen's...except that Charisma saw what happened and swore her revenge on Keira for what she did... betraying her brother to sleep with her husband!  But Charisma's vengeance was short lived, since after the baby was born with Orlando's dark eyes (Owen had green eyes) fingers were pointed in all directions... and Orlando ended up divorcing Charisma Bloom, after which she changed her and Kate's last name back to Corvinus.  Charisma had a mental breakdown, and one day when Owen was out she torched the playroom Keira and her three children were in, killing herself, Keira, and the three children! Owen was distraught by this all, and went away for some time.  Orlando was just as upset, but vowed never to love anyone again...untill he met Raine Sparrow...

THE SPARROW SISTERS
Not much was ever known about these three mysterious sisters arriving in town, and probably not much will.  Marrakech was the oldest, then Raine and then Angelica.  Marrakech loved her garden...and her gardener more than that... and when she became a plantsim he was the only one who wasn't freaked out by it.  Marrakech later married him, became Marrakech Hamilton and moved away to greener pastures.  After Marrakech's departure, Raine decided to get her life in order too, and moved in with, and later married Orlando Bloom.  Orlando and Raine Bloom's son Liam was later born, but shortly after that Raine ran over and killed Damon Bennett after drink to much at a party, and ended up in jail...where she was later found hanging by a noose in her cell.  Orlando was of course crushed by this, and gave up on love completely, later dwindling into a depression, and when Liam finally left for college Orlando disappeared without a word.  He was never found.
Angelica Sparrow was the nicest and the youngest of her sisters, and stayed in their little cottage for a long time... until one day a new neighbor moved in across the street.  He was Damon Bennett, the shy blonde guy Angelica always dreamed of meeting.  It was love at first sight when Angelica saw him taking out the trash while she was trimming her roses... and after a rather lengthy courtship, marred by both's shyness, they were finally married.  Angelica Bennett had never been so happy.

THE BENNETTS
Damon and Angelica Bennett were by all accounts the best ever matched duo you'd find.  Their romance was like reading a storybook.  And when Angelica found out she was pregnant she was ecstatic!  She had just heard the news...but as she ran outside to tell Damon, who was getting the mail outside, Damon looked up at his wife running towards him, and her drunken sister, Raine Bloom ran him down!  Damon didn't die instantly, and as Angelica sat with his head on her lap he died with a smile, his perfect child would be born, and Angelica would be a mother. The baby boy was named Christian Bennett, and Angelica braced herself for single parenthood.  As Christian  excelled at everything he did Angelica's heart could never forget Damon.  Later she tried dating again when a nice man from the local garden club came over, but that never amounted to anything.  She still loved Damon.  And always would.  Christian moved away to college...and Angelica would be alone.

THE EVERWINTERS (the Legacy)
Thomas Everwinter and his sister moved to town on a dark and rainy day. Hymns was covered in snow that year...after all the drama that happened before everyone wanted a new start.  Thomas' sister Christina didn't like Hymns...and her bitterness made her a bad person.  Thomas on the other hand was a pleasure, his gothy good looks drawing fear and interest from a lot of girls in town.  With his pale skin, jet black hair, and icy blue, almost transparent eyes there was just something...about him.  But Thomas only ever had his eye on one girl.  Kate Corvinus.  Kate's mother Charisma had passed away years ago, and her estranged father Orlando was still missing, and presumed dead.  Kate grew up with her grandmother in Pleasantview, but decided to move back to Hymns to learn more about her troubled family. Thats when Kate and Thomas met and fell in love.  At her mother's grave in the cemetery, Kate saw Thomas change by moonlight into a dark creature...she was never afraid.  Thomas liked her spirit.... and together they kept his secret.  Kate eventually married Thomas, and became Kate Everwinter, and their son Riley was born.  Riley seemed to have skipped on the curse that affected his father so, and Kate kept it a secret, even from him.  But by the time Riley became a teenager he felt the change happen.  Kate had two werewolves to care for now.  But Riley insisted that he wanted to go to college, even after his mother warned him what might happen.  Of course Christina Evans (ex-Corvinus) had long since moved out, going on a binge of wild parties, and sleeping with models... she became pregnant, and wanted to move back home.  But her arrival wasn't good timing, since thats when Kate was pregnant with Riley, and Christina moved out on her own to have her baby, Daniel Evans, which she raised with an iron fist to always be perfect.
Riley graduated from college, and went on a trip around the world in search of a cure for his "condition" before he moved back home for good.  That’s when he met Lady Lara Croft, the famous archeologist and sometimes "tomb raider".  It was love at first sight.  Lara's spirit (and long hair) captivated him, and they became fast friends.  Lara eventually discovered an old remedy on her travels, and Riley and Thomas were finally cured!  Kate Everwinter was so impressed with Lara that she invited Lara to stay for a few days...and played matchmaker... Riley and Lara eventually married. Thomas and Kate later died of old age, but Riley and Lara's lives were filled with further adventures and a son, James Everwinter.  James grew up basically in the absence of Lara, who was always off exploring lost worlds with her colleague and fellow archeologist, Adam Scott.  Riley never got jealous of Adam, since he knew Lara would never betray him and her son, and Adam was happily married to Evangeline Scott, and they had three children of their own, Eric, Bryan and Eva Scott.  James and Eva later forged a friendship out of mutual understanding of missing parents….a friendship which later bloomed into love, and eventually marriage.  Riley lived to see a grandson born, Stephen Everwinter.  Lara, now in old age, loves her family dearly and adores her grandson Stephen.

THE SCOTTs
Adam Scott thought he’d be a bachelor forever, always unlucky in love, with no real family to speak of, an orphan at 3… he was a lonely man.  That is until he started exploring the world.  Yet he always went home alone.  Until one day he visited a villiage in South America, and met the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen there.  Her name was Evangeline Lima, and he persuaded her to leave everything behind and move back to Hymns with him.  So facinated by this stranger was Evangeline that she did – and never looked back.  They married and had a daughter, Eva Scott, and later on two more children, Bryan and Eric.  Evangeline understood Adam’s close relationship with Lara Croft-Everwinter very well…and never questioned them about it, even when the rumours started.  Evangeline and Adam spent many years together with their children and 3 dogs, a full life…and celebrated Eva’s marriage to James Everwinter with that family. Sadly Adam was killed by a lightning strike, and Evangeline couldn’t bear to live without her husband.  She withered and died shortly after – people say she died of a broken heart.  
With Eva happily married, and now living the life of a Everwinter, Eric decided to try his luck in the world too… he still plans to return to Hymns to start a family, but drops in for a visit now and then.
Bryan, the golden bachelor of Hymns, inherited the Scott house.  But he wouldn’t stay single for long – Claire Bennett had him in her sights.  Claire, the daughter of Christian and Adriana Bennett, was left out of her father’s will after she attacked him when he married Athena Vassily, and she was dirt poor for the first time in her life. Her solution proved to be the naïve and young Bryan Scott.  Claire used her beauty and charm to lure Bryan in, and pounced when he was still reeling from his mother’s death.  Claire knew she didn’t have a real long time, and proposed to Bryan… he was so shocked that he agreed, and the were married the next day! Now Claire Scott was a devious woman, who never loved Bryan, and just used him as a meal ticket.  They only slept together on their wedding night so Bryan couldn’t annul the marriage that easily after its been consummated.  But when they went away for their honeymoon it was a whole different story…while Bryan enjoyed guided tours alone, Claire got friendly with a local, Jefferson Wade.  Claire spent a few days entertaining Jefferson in bed…until she met his teenage son, Destry Wade. Destry proved to be more Claire’s style than his father and Claire was thrilled… until Jefferson walked in on her and his son in a compromising position… to get back at Claire he told Bryan everything, and Bryan ended the marriage while they were still on honeymoon, finally coming to his senses!  Things got a little more complicated after that when Claire started sporting a baby bump…was it Bryan, Jefferson or Destry’s baby? Jefferson knew that it wasn’t his (medical reasons) and forced his teenage son to marry the adult Claire.  SO Claire became Claire Wade.  The baby had to be Destry’s… but Claire told Bryan all the same, and he offered to let her stay on in a spare room in the house until the baby was born, since Destry was still at school, and she could never manage alone, Claire being Claire. So the baby was born, Liam Wade.  It was painfully obvious who the baby belonged to… with Bryan’s bright blue eyes and light skin it could only be his.  By now Claire was shattered… Bryan had only ever been good to her.  She could never make up for her betrayal – and decided to eliminate her poisonous self from Bryan and Liam’s lives. Claire took an antique sword Adam unearthed once and plunged it into her chest in Evangeline’s beloved garden.  By morning when the gardener came Claire Wade was dead.  Bryan gained custody of his son, and changed his name to Liam Scott.  Bryan now raises Liam alone, but is weary of love.
THE BENNETT’s (2)
Christian Bennett met Adriana Marino at college, and this Italian girl took his breath away… they spent all their time together, and they married right after their graduation – before he even moved back home to his mother. Angelica Bennett by now was looking forward to old age and spending her life peacefully with no hassles.  She liked Adriana Bennett, but longed for children to fill her house again…something Adriana and Christian weren’t ready for yet.  But Angelica’s gentile existence would finally be rattled once again when an old resident finally returned to Hymns… Owen Corvinus was back.  Now an elder, he was wiser than before. He never married anyone again, but still longed for a family.  A steady and understanding romance flamed up between Angelica and Owen, and he moved in to the house she shared with Christian and Adriana.  Some time passed, and as Angelica opened up to Owen she found herself pregnant again! A daughter was born, Charlotte Bennett-Corvinus. Christian adored his little sister and he started pushing Adriana to have children… Adriana didn’t take well to pressure, and moved out of the house.  Christian followed her, and later she did have a daughter, Claire Bennett.  Meanwhile Owen was wearing down from his long life and he passed, leaving a now elder Angelica to look after their daughter.  Charlotte became a gorgeous young girl and teenager, and befriended the social outcast Daniel Evans whose evil mother kept everyone at bay.  Daniel was freed from his mother’s oppression and ran away from his home to move in with Charlotte and Angelica.  Angelica took Daniel in as a son, and he and Charlotte soon became inseparable. Christina Evans was fuming at her son’s “betrayal” and stormed off to her brother Thomas’ house.  It just happened to be a full moon that night…and Christina was never seen again.  Kate never told anyone what really happened, and died with the secret.
Christian and Adriana had a blessed time with their daughter, when Claire was a teenager a terrible accident took Adriana’s life when she became locked in a sauna.  Adriana died in the hot steam, a painful death.  Christian was shattered, but was soon consoled by Adriana’s beautiful young assistant, Athena Onassis. Out of their mutual love for Adriana they turned to eachother and found a new love… with eachother! Athena and Christian married, she became Athena Bennett and Claire was furious at her mother’s memory being smashed.  Claire attacked Christian with a knife, but Athena stopped her and Christian escaped.   Claire was banished from the house – but Christian found new joy when Athena got pregnant…and had Bianca Bennett.  Christian wasn’t to see Bianca grow up though. He died of natural causes as an elder. His young bride taking it upon herself to raise their daughter.  

THE VASSILYs
Tantilus and Titania Vassily moved to town… but no one ever really noticed their arrival in the midst of all the dramas in their own lives.  Titania had a short fling with Zack Addams, but she died in a freak fire brought on by a defective Christmas tree before the relationship could develop any further.  Tantilus met and fell in love with Athena Bennett and her young daughter.  Athena by now had become open to anything…with a live life to the fullest way of life.  When Tantilus asked her out she agreed right away, and their match was made instantly.  Athena married Tantilus a very short while after they met, and became Athena Vassily.  They’re still in that honeymoon mood, being newlyweds.

THE EVANS FAMILY
Charlotte and Daniel eventually finished school, and got married soon after.  Charlotte finally threw off the double barrel last name ‘Bennett-Corvinus’ to become Charlotte Evans. Daniel inherited a great some of money from his dead mother, by way of selling off all her businesses and houses she had accumulated for him to one day run.  With all that money he bought a lovely beach side villa for him and Charlotte.  Daniel and Charlotte had a ball spending all the money on their world travels and when their daughter Stella was eventually born she also went along for the rides. Charlotte and Daniel lived a life of adventure and travel, but always included their daughter, who later became best friends with Eva Scott, and even dated Eva’s brother Eric for a while.  Daniel eventually died of old age, on his beach front property, with his family by his side. Stella got engaged to Eric Scott, but later left him in favour of her friend, Cleo Fox’s mother’s ex-husband, Horus Ravenscroft.  Horus and Stella got married on Stella’s family’s beach, and their son Oscar Ravenscroft was born some time later.  Stella really wants another child soon, and is hoping for a daughter…to marry Eva’s son Stephen when they’re grown up.  Charlotte also died of old age, and the house was made out to Stella, who plans on giving it to Oscar when he’s old enough.

THE THAXTON/SYLAR/ADDAMS/STARECK/BOUCHARD families
These are the rest of the families in Hymns, all newer arrivals.  The Thaxton family, Arucard and Integra and their daughter Dominique, Delilah Sylar, a beautiful and enigmatic woman, Zack Addams – in love with Luna Bouchard, who he has a child with, Constantine Stareck who lost his twin Melina Blizzard in the Christmas tree fire, and who is dating Luna Bouchard…but fascinated by Delilah Sylar, and Luna Bouchard, the latest arrival in town.  She slept with Zack Addams on her first night in town and that resulted in their son, Sebastian Bouchard-Addams being born.  Luna desperately wants Constantine, but with Delilah drawing his gaze away, she might just have to settle for Zack Addams after all. Not without a fight though…

SO basically that’s it.. the story so far. Ive left out some minor characters and children who had no real point… and some families I don’t think was worth mentioning. Some characters like Orlando are still missing though, but I highly doubt he’d be returning as anything but a skeleton by now!  
I hope you enjoyed reading all that if you made it through, Ill follow with the profiles of the currently active characters as soon as I have some more time to make them up.  They’re all mentioned above anyway I think… but at least now you know how integrated all the families have become over time.  Its quite interesting actually
