Game Loading Problem

I just downloaded The Sims 2 Deluxe from the EA Store and every time I try to start the game, the loading screen stops on the fourth bar and says "The application will now be terminated"

Any help would be appreciated.

First things first:  Try taking out all of your downloads and test them gradually.  You may have an incompatible object mesh or hack that's causing the game to crash.  :angel:

I had no downloads, it's a brand new game.

Crashing on a fresh install like that is generally hardware related.  Compare the computer requirements for the game with the specs of your computer and try to resolve any differences.
