magistray

ok i might have posted this some time ago ,but if i didn't i really need help in finding the magistray in my game , that I downloaded from MODTHESIMS2.com and i can't find it in my game anywhere.


I look in all my game folders ingame and I don't see it .. I see the original one.. and i have NL and OFB..

can some one assist me before i pull  my hair to shreds

Do you have the CEP installed?  If you don't, then it's most likely that's what's up.  You'd have to get that in order for your custom object recolors to show up properly.  Once you have that installed, the recolor for the Magisplay tray should show up when you click on it in it's regular area underneath the "Shelves" section the in Surfaces category.  :angel:

Tenshii-- yes I have the CEP installed and I still don't see the magistray.. ugh!!!!!!!! runs to bathroom ..grabs ..aspirin..

Are you looking for a separate object? If you can find the original one, it should appear as a clear recolor of it.

the actual magisplay tray can be found in buy mode>surfaces>shelves

once you place it/put whatever you want on it then click on the design tool and the invisible recolor option should appear.

ok so i did the thingy to try and recolor the magistray and when i click the CEP tool it said the object was un designable

I also have the invisible re-color and it doesn't show up in my game at all either.

yea axel .. so I don't know what to do I tried to figure out to contact the modder who made it , but I don't have such luck.. cause when i try to find it on MODS it doesn't exist..

You are talking about pfish, right?  I'm not sure why it's not working for some people... I know it happened once to me a while back when I first got OFB and downloaded it... and I found out the cause of it was because I had an outdated version of the CEP.  The first time I tried updating it, I couldn't find the recolor at all.  The second time, though, I ran the automatic installer instead of the "manual" download (by just putting the "EnableColorOptionsGMND.package" file in the Downloads folder), tried it all again, and it started working fine.  To this day it's still working.  Strange how it's seemingly causing so much trouble... :scratch:  

Have you tried re-installing the CEP just in case?  I'm not sure if there's even a remote possibility that there's more than one (since all the versions had the same name to begin with), so if re-installing the CEP and re-downloading the invisible Magisplay recolor doesn't work, I'd have to say I'm stumped on this one...

Ok Tenshii I tried to do a reinstall and redown and nothing  still so I don't I sent a pm to the modder of the item and they haven't return my pm and that was liek a week ago,, so i don't know
