Free Time - Where are the birds???

first question: Hi evereyone, someone can help me???

With my pc I can see the fishs in lakes and aquarium, and the pool have beautiful graphics (reflect) including the beachs!!!
I use the graphic options on max (except anti-aliasing) but I can't see the birds when I do the see birds interaction...

Can someone say if the problem is from the game or my videocard???
Look my pc: 1gb memory, 5600+ athlon processor, 7200 rpm seagate 120 GB HD... My video card are Ati x1550 512Mb... (all drivers up-to-date!)

second question: I need put more trees to see the birds? is this???

Are you on the secret lot? From what I read about FT, you can only go bird watching on the secret lot.  I don't have it now, so I can't help further. Sorry.

The insimenator BV edition will work in Free Time but not correctly (example: some new options in-game not work)...

Oh, are you supposed to actually SEE birds when your sims are birdwatching!
Yeah, appears I've got the same problem. Or EAxis just forgot to program the birds into the game

could be a graphics issue, like the fish in the pond or aquarium. I have FT, but haven't checked some of the interactions yet.

The INSIM works fine for me.

I see neighborhood birds, but all I see birdwatching are a bubble above the Sims head. It seems to work for them.

rafaelluik, birds and bees are "knocked out" by the presence of InSIMenator in FT.

If you want to see birds - you will need to remove InSIMenator if you have it installed.

If you don't have InSIMenator installed, try to be patient, birds -- like fireflies and butterflies in Seasons EP -- are both random and limited to the proper seasons of the year from what I have seen and read.  Birds won't be "available" at all times or on all lots like clouds or stars. They will also require a certain level of "hobby interest" to enable the action.

I won't exclude the possibility of a game bug -- but this early into it, I think it is a bit premature to say it is a bug.  We'll need more confirmation from others.  I am playing on a borrowed laptop - so I don't get much in-game time, so I can't say yes or no.  One of the best resources for bug reports is MATY, there are serious hard-core power-players there (even if they may not be the sweetest people) they are incredibly knowledgeable about the game's defects and bugs earlier than most others.  Check the threads there to see if there are any early bug reports.

OK - just back from a trip poking into the files - I see meshes for 3 new bird shapes and textures for them: crow, goose, and pigeon -- these aren't the low-poly things for the neighbourhood, so I will go with the assumption that these are the object files for the birds you expect to see Rafael
