Hi Im new

can you build a hotel in the normel sims town
useing start your own work ?:smt120

And  in my game sometimes it get stuck :blob6:
and I have to quit!!!

and I have bright yellow roofs not
all the time but sometimeS this  happens.

I am not sure about your other problems but you I do know that you should be able to build a hotel in your regular neighborhood.

Place a new community lot and then enter it to build your hotel. After you have built it use the following CHEAT:

changeLotZoning hotel

Type the CHEAT exactly as written. Save and exit the lot. When you re-enter it should be available as a hotel.

I am not sure whether the hotel objects will be readily available while you do the initial build. They may be available after you have used the CHEAT, saved and exited. It has been some time since I built a hotel so I am not clear when the objects are available to use. Give it a try and let us know if it works.

Hopefully, someone more knowledgeable about your other problems will read this post and have an answer for you.

Unfortunately you can't build hotels in residential neighborhoods. I have tried numerous times and it doesn't work. About your roof problem, it's probably an issue with your computer's graphics card. Check your graphic card info and make sure it matches the requirements for your game.

Qtpie thanks for the heads up. It all make imperfect sense now. Beach lots can not, for the most part, be binned and reused: hotels only function as such in vacation areas; houses built for the main hood do not function properly if binned and reused at a UNI locale (and vice versa).

EAxis is sooooo bi-polar!!!!!!!!!!

At least now I will never succumb to the urge to build a hotel in the main hood!
