Change mesh for existing Sim?

I wish to change the body type for an existing Sim (so that when she is naked in the shower, for example, a different mesh -- or whatever the proper term is -- is used).

Is this easy/possible?  I'm not afraid of binary editors, if that helps.

it is, if you download skintones linked to body types. I think there might be some right here at insim. but you still have to download clothes for the bodytype (everyday, and so on) if you want them to have the same one in all clothing types.
