Walk to a lot

I read the blogs to find new things about the Sims2 that I didn't know.  How can my Sim walk to another community lot.  I don't know how to even get that option.  Any suggestions?

You need to click on your sim.And the option to walk to community lot should be there.Also you have to have enough hobby points to become a member of a hidden hobby lot.

You need to have Bon Voyage to be able to do this.
