Good luck! And if anything goes wrong, it's just to delete the partition again, I've done this twice because I didn't make the windows partition big enough the first time ^^

Hi,

I play the sims on an imac with leopard. I gave up on the combo patch.  Make sure you have the cc button in sims activated.  I didn't loose my cc...The patch just slowed the game down to a point that it was unplayable.

Now my son games on a windows computer.  Because of this I am aware of some of the problems playing sims on windows can produce.  Number one is the securom problem.  It can really screw up a windows computer. It makes it so you can no longer burn cds and dvds. It makes some dvd players stop working.  So....just do a google check to see if any folks running sims on mac...via windows...has had the securom affect the cd or dvd burner in mac mode.  That would be one thing to check out.  So far the mac doesn't have the securom on the sims as far as I can tell.  Just be aware of the problems, and read up and plan on steps to check it out.  If it does work that will be great...I have been thinking along the same lines as you.  But know that windows sims isn't problem free either.  Just read up and have fun.
