What am I doing wrong? Packaging and Compressing Help needed!

Ok... try and follow... I have packaged a lot. I have opened the lot with the sims clean installer. I clicked on the house button. saved with another name.

ok Now... I now seem to get a file, with the name I used to save and the original package file??

Which one do I compress?  
There are threads on uploading and packaging, but not compression.... Help!

So you have saved without CC, right? Try installing the new lot to see if it comes up in your bin.

As far as compressing, I believe you're talking about using RAR (preferred) or ZIP to compress the file so that you can upload it. Let us know if you need more help.

I saved it using sims clean installer but it doesnt seem to save the package file without the CC's. I just get the original package file with another page like file with the new saved name.
Ideas??
