My game wont start!! HELP PLEASE!

Ok. I'm about to cry . My game won't start!

Here's a little story:

I turned on the pc, and started my game, everything was working fine and it even took less time to open the game. I was building a house for my new family on my new neighborhood but I wanted to move the semi built house to another neighborhood so I packaged it into a file, exited the game and installed the lot into the teleport folder. When I tried to run the game again the start window with the 'play' button opened and I clicked it. Than the CD started spinning but the game wouldn't start. So I restarted the computer and tried again. Same thing, didn't work. I deleted the lot I installed from the downloads folder and tried again, no Sims 2 for me. And I really really hope someone can help me! :cry:

OH..Body shop won't work either.. when I click on it, it opens a new window saying that the program must be closed.

NO NO NO. its so simple to fix. LOL
I had this problem exept i had corrupted cc that would make my game crash so then it corrupted my game and i was sooo sad i thought i would never play my game again because it didn't load body shop or sims 2. this is what i did and now it has been loading fine.

in My Document/EA game/The Sims 2/

delete the cache file,Content registry, accessory and groups file. they are safe to delete and they regenerate when u load the game up. the game just needs to refresh itself cuz one of those files has been corrupted.

please tell me if this worked, i hope it did.

Yea, that's pretty much what the other girl told me to do! It worked indeed! I had done it before but to fix bodyshop.. I didn't know I sopposed to do the same to fix the game!
