InSIMenator Problem

So I searched the site the for about an hr and could not an answer that solved my problem - I apologize if I just missed it.
I dl the latest version of InSIMenator and placed the package "file" into Home/EA Games/The Sims 2/Downloads I had to create the downloads folders (there wasn't one). The Insimenator will not show up in the catalog under Electronic/All or under anything for that matter.
The only EP I have is University and (as far as I know) I do have CC enabled in the preferences.
What am I doing wrong???

Once you have turned your downloads on, you have to reset the sims in order for your CC to show. Have you restarted the sims and have you checked in electrics then go into misc at the end 'the pic that looks like a sideways 8'?

I have the CC turned on (Preferences/Allow Custom Content to be Displayed in the Catalogue (or something like that). I have exited the Sims and restarted it. Didn't help.

Double check how you named your downloads folder. It must be spelled "Downloads" exactly as I typed it, without the quotation marks. If it isn't, that could be why it's not showing up.
