Okay, so Ive been playing the Sims 2 for about 2 months now. The first game I got was the Deluxe Edition. When I found out about Custom Content, I downloaded things like crazy. I went crazy when only about 10 downloads showed up in my game. I was very upset and contacted EA, but they didnt do much. I bought the Seasons EP and stuff still didnt show up in my game. Then one day, all the stuff magically appeared! Yay, right? Well... not quite. Now when I play my game, if I click on my Art/Misc thingy, it freezes and a pop up comes up and says "The application has failed. The application will now terminate." And I lose everything I did! I know not to click on that section anymore, but some of my CC is in there, sometimes I forget and stuff...

Im sorry if this has been asked already, Im kind of new. x]
Anyone have any ideas? I would really like to play with all my CC. Sad

As for how much I have, I have 2435 items. Is that too muchhhh?

I'd check my dowloads, certain downloads come with certain EPs if you have something in your game that is not compatible then it can cause all kinds of issues.  Like if you downloaded some CC for Bon Voyage and you don't have that EP(example) it can cause conflicts with your game. Be careful when downloading and make sure you have the EPs the CC requires, most creators let you know what games are required for that piece of CC.  Hope I'm making sense.

If you've downloaded a whole bunch of stuff and don't know what works with which ep, the best suggestion I can make at this point is to scrap your downloads completely and start over. It's a pain in the neck thing to do, especially if you've got some cc you really want to keep, but if you remember where you got most of it from you can redownload it. Now that you know some cc requires you to have certain eps, be careful and make sure what you download is compatible with what you have.

Most cc creators are going about listing this information, but if they don't, by all means don't be shy about asking. Not asking can cause problems with your game, as you've learned the hard way Smiley

Another thing to be sure of is you get all the meshes needed.
