About Zero: Zero is the bassist for the Japanese rock band D'espairsRay. The band is known for their heavy, almost industrial gothic rock with vocal work that alternates between growls and screams to low, melodious tones. Matching the music, the band's look has always been quite dark, although it's become less extreme in recent years. Zero is known as the darker of the members with a quiet subdued personality that has bordered on sadistic (given his answers to questionnaires in the band's earlier days).
