Propose option is gone

I had 2 of my teen sims fall in love. They're both on 100 on both meters. My male teen now has a go steady want, but the option doesn't show up when I
click on the girl. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I tried pressing tab to see if that brought up any other options..

Do you have any hacks in your game that could interfere with these kinds of things?

I've got the inteenimator and the insimenator, but they seemed to be working fine.

Do you talk about Castaway? Take off the Inteenimator, and see is the option appears. Inteen does a lot of troubles in this mini-game.
