The Illusion Of Falling

(1/3) > >>

EKozski:
Is there any way I can make, or give the illusion that a Sim is falling from the second floor of his home to the first?

Thank you.

danceswithwands:
How about if you use the pose-overlay "lay back arm and leg down" and then move objects on to position the sim in mid-air?

If you can't get the right "height" for the floating part there is a "invisible" thing you can get with meubles laundry set.. it lets you put things on the shelve of the closet racks... but it's invisible and you can use it to make a sim float at about ceiling level.

let me know if you think this will work- I will go find the links. ;)

danceswithwands:
Oh- and you can even use the overlay for the face of "horror" to make them look scared. :)

I can go do a screen shot of one of my sims as described to see how it looks to you... if you'd like... let me know!

EKozski:
I tried the move objects on, and I can only get the top and bottom of the floors.

But, I guess with the zooming in and out, I can give the illusion of falling.

But, if I use the move objects while he or she is sleeping, I can get them laying down.

danceswithwands:
You need the invisible shelf thing that comes with the laundry set- has three levels- end table level- lowest, then the counter level- bit higher, then the armoire level- highest...

That way you would start at the highest, move down a notch, then another, until you get to the floor...

Want me to find the link for you- or show you how' it would look in game?  I can pm the pic so as not to take away from your story. ;)
