Something Odd Showed Up On My Screen

I was playing the game and I accidently typed or hit something when I was trying to put a cheat code in. I looked up and the FPS thing showed up. The black backround with the green numbers and letters.

How do I get rid of that? It's rather annoying.

EDIT: Problem solved. All I had to do was, quit the game.

That was easy.

An easier way is Ctrl-Shift-S which will toggle it on and off.  I've fat fingered that many times when opening the cheat console.
