I love Sweeney Todd and am trying to download one of the creative Sweeney character designs. However I am downlaoding them, but when I put them in my Sims 2 folder. It won't work!! Then this thing popped up that said that this content requires Expansion Pack data that is not installed.
I just recently got Sims 2 including University, Nightlife, Open for Business and Family Fun. I'm not really sure what this means, I really want a Sweeney Todd in my Sims!!

Please Please help :(

Hi,
That message happens when the files you are trying to install require an expansion or stuff pack you don't have.

First of all you should check that the sims you are trying to download don't require any expansion packs you don't have. If you have all the required expansion packs then i suggest installing the sims2pack files using the CleanInstaller found here it is much more efficient than the maxis installer.

If you have the right expansion packs and installing it with the CleanInstaller doesn't work im not sure what else you can do. Hope this helps. :)

Yeah I'll try, I just don't know what expansion packs I need for the V.2.0 of Sweeney Todd. I'm no good with computor stuff!! XD but thanks

If have checked the thread the V.2 is posted in and it doesn't say any expansion packs are required so i would assume that it requires none and that installing it with the CleanInstaller should resolve your problem.

If it still won't install let me know. :)
