Deena:
It's good so far, I wanna know what happens next!

Stelio Kontos:
Oh, the suspense, it's hurting me.
Update soon, please.

SimKween:
I'm working on chapter 3 right now :D

SimKween:
One day, me and Kista were happily eating lunch when the phone rang.

“Hello?” I said.
“Mrs. Hershey?” said a male voice.
“Speaking.”

“Yes. Um, I’m calling in response to your ad in the paper.”
“Really?” I said, realizing the voice sounded familiar. “Wait, who is this?”
“Hey Lex. It’s Jake Hart.”

Jake Hart was my high school sweetheart. But we broke up when we went to separate colleges. I hadn’t seen him in ages.

“Omigosh! Hi!” I said.
“Hey. Word on the street is you need some help. I’d be glad to.”
“Of course you can help! When can you start?”
“How about in two hours?”
“So soon?”
“Sure. Why not.”
“Oh. Alright.” I had to go to work soon anyway.

Jake arrived two hours later, as promised. He looked pretty good.

I didn’t know how I should greet him. Should I hug him? Handshake with him? A simple ‘Hi’?

Jake pulled me into a hug.

That works.
“So where’s your daughter...”
“Kista.”
“Right. Where’s Kista?”
“She’s down for a nap. Would you like to see her?”
“Sure.”

We walked up the stairs and into Kista’s room. She was sleeping peacefully.

“Aw. Hi sweetie. I’m Jake and I’m here to take care of you.” Jake cooed.
“Oh! I have to go to work before I’m late.” I said. “Don’t let me down Jake!”
“Don’t worry. I won’t.” He smiled.
I came home hours later. Jake and Kista seemed to be asleep, so I came in quietly.  I took a nice shower and got in bed.

I woke up to the sound of Kista’s crying. I glanced at my clock on my nightstand. 3:00 AM it read. I groaned and rolled out of bed. I got to Kista’s room only to find Jake in there, calming her down.

I backed out of the room quietly and went back to bed.
Over the months, Jake was a huge help. I have to admit it was a little awkward at first, having part of my past living in my house, but I grew uesd to it. And our relationship was blossoming into a little more than friends. One day, Kista decided to sleep in. Jake and I celebrated with breakfast together. We were halfway done with out pancakes when Kista waltzed right in and said “Me hungy!!”

I couldn’t believe my eyes! My baby Kista was walking! She would be a child soon! We rewarded her with her favorite cereal. Jake cleaned up afterwards. Wasn’t that nice of him?
“Well, I have to get to work early today, big meeting.” I said.
“Bye.” Jake said, pulling me into a kiss. I was shocked.

“Uh... bye!” I said, running out the door. That was the first time he had ever kissed me since we broke up.

SimKween:
As time passed, and it got closer and closer to Kista’s birthday, she was jabbering more than ever! She was running around the house within weeks. One night, Jake was putting Kista to bed. I came in to say good night. “Night mommy” she said to me. “Night night Dada.” she said to Jake. Me and Jake shared a glance.

Before we knew it, the day had arrived. Jake cheered when I brought Kista to her cake.

We blew out her candles.

And It was time.

She changed into a beautiful child.

“You girls go upstairs, I have a surprise for you.” Jake said to us.
“Come on sweetie, I’ll show you your new room!” I said to Kista.
She raced upstairs, with me not too far behind. Kista squealed with delight. There was a hamster, a toychest, a dollhouse, and.... two beds?
“Mommy, why are there two beds?” Kista asked.
“I’m not sure” I replied.
“You can come down girls! In the livingroom!” Jake called. Maybe he had an explanation for this. We went back downstairs. There was a girl Kista’s age in our livingroom.
“Girls, meet Jill.” Jake said.

“My daughter.”
