Has happened in my game as well. They also steel drinks. I think my sim has bought drinks to the whole neighborhood now, all the extra areas included. Even old Mrs C. can't stop herself. ;D

haha yes i know this happens to me ALL the time! i find it quite annoying actually,
cause my sims just keeps buying drinks, but they're almost never able to drink them
before some random townie comes along to steal it haha 1headwall
