How Do I get this roof to work?

And from the looks of it, seems like the textures you are actually looking for should really show up under "floors" instead of under the "roof" texture category. Tiko's thatched "roof" isn't a true roof, and is supposed to be a texture involving intermediate-advanced building methods for roofs. ;)

It's not a simple roof to make. If you are just wanting a thatched roof, you may be better off going to MTS2 for some roof recolors. I picked up 4 or 5 different roof recolors there that give me the same number of different thatched options. I put my roof on and chose the one I wanted.

Oh my lol. I did actually download it thinking it was just a recolour!. silly me.*blush* Ill take a look at the tutorial though. and ill poke around at the modthe sims2 for the roofs as well. Thank you SO MUCH for all your help!!.
