Invisible Sims! Help!

Okay, so I'm having a slight problem here. All of a sudden, when I try to invite one of my sims' friends over, the friend shows up, but you can't see her! U see the thought bubble but nothing else! I made her selectable through the insim and it was just like a ghost moving through the house using objects. Once, I thought it was coming back, but it was just like a silouette. Does anyone know what's happening?

I don't know what the problem could be. I've never heard of such a thing. I thought you meant the sim body was invisible. If that was the case it would be a missing mesh or meshes and she/he is using a skintone that links to a custom mesh that you don't have. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I have made a townie teen selectable in the past, only to have it run away.  So trying to get the teen back, I used the Selector to make the teen selectable again (some twisted rational on my part).  Next thing I new I had a plumbbob fixing something to eat, taking baths, and all kinds of other goodies.

It's a bug that existed in the base TS2, and was fixed then by Pescado, by the hack "carpoolfix".  I had it all the time, when General Grant brought a friend home - saw only his/her plumbob.

I know that in later EPs this bug was fixed, because I don't have anymore this hack, nor unvisible sims.

In BV this event returned; when a teen runs away from my house, and I call the police - he returns invisible. Seems that I have to put again the "carpoolfix" hack.
