Really confused with the familyfunds cheat

I'm not sure what's confusing. As Jaccirocker said, to make the family have exactly $100000, you need to type exactly this:

familyFunds Wilhurn 100000

To add $100000 to the money they already have, type this:

familyFunds Wilhurn +100000

An alternative to familyfunds is to use motherlode or kaching which give the family 50,000 or 1000.  These are used only in the lot view.  familyfunds can be used in neighborhood view or lot view (may be EP dependent for lot view).

Also, with higher EPs (Seasons and above) comes the money cheat.  (i.e.  money 5000 for making the funds exactly 5000 simoleans, or money +5000 to add 5,000 simoleans to the existing funds.)  This also is only available in the lot view.  ;)

(...and if you ask me, EA's been a little bit too generous on adding in those money cheats.  I would think we'd only need one universal one... ah, I miss the days of 'rosebud'.  :rofl:)

thanks I could never get that one to work now i did woot.. no more moving in a empty lot and motherloding lol.. then move out and into the lot i want..

The only problem I've ever seen with familyfunds happens when you have more than one household with the same famly name.  You try to get the money to one family and it keeps going to another family.  Just use a mod like the Lot Debugger at MATY to change the last name of the families (Jones-1, Jones-2, etc)
