Long Faces

I usually am not very active, so I don't expect a reply, but I have been fiddling with the graphics for ages trying to fix one problem... the faces!

For a reason I can't explain, all my family have shorter faces, and whenever I click on the premade faces, I look from the representative faces and look at the one presented to me, and I see a clear difference! I don't know what's wrong, or what I can do to fix it. The options for shortening the face don't appear when I edit my sim, and I'm quite desperate to get it fixed because they look just plain weird. Dx

...also, I don't know if this might be the problem, but I'm running Vista Enterprise. I doubt anyone could test it, seeing as it's strictly released for large buisness firms and not availible to the general public, so I geuss it could possibly be a graphics card/operating system bug.
