Found An Odd File
Trepie22:
Hey^^
''In DOS systems, a file with a.BAK extension, indicating that the file is a backup. Many applications produce BAK files as part of their autosave procedure. Periodically, you may want to search for BAK files and delete old ones.'' [ taken from http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/B/BAK_file.html ]
So it looks like it's just a backup - maybe part of a recovery file from the rar/zip? I think it should be safe to delete :s
You might also want to look at this:

I recently noticed to when i was cleaning my downloads. You are sure it is safe to delete?
What exactly is a replacement file?!!?
Trepie22:
I'm not sure but if it's just a back up then it implies that you've got an original and a back-up, which you shouldn't need.
I don't know if Sims 2 recognises that extension as CC that it can use?
Tenshii~Akari:
Yes, the .bak files are perfectly safe to delete, since Sims 2 doesn't read that file extension. Those are usually spawned when files have been edited in SimPE and the changes are saved. All of them are really just as explained: backups from the previous copy. So, if something happens to the original file, changing the .bak extension to .package brings up the workable backup copy.

Thank you, again. Moderator Tenshii. :love7:
