Different Apartment Life Versions?

Does anyone know if Apartment Life is available in cd-rom format I've only been able to find dvd-rom.If so where at?

That sux my dvd-r is fubar.I wonder why the switch cuz freetime was available in cd-r.

maybe AL is on DVD because Maxis didn't want to spend money to make two or three CDs.  Maxis must assume that nearly everyone has a DVD player in their computer these days.

It's DVD and digital download ONLY (except in Thailand where it is CD) Contact EA customer suport or try to get a refund from the store you bought it from. Do the digital download. You will need to be online to verify the game the first time you play and ocassionally when you load but, you can disconnect during play.
