I accidently switched all the .package files to the sims 2 custom content installer, and now all of those files are switched to that, will it interfer gameplay? do i have to switch it back, and if so,how??
I haven't played on a pc in a while i've been mostly on my mac, and i totally screwed it up Sad Help Pleaseee

What were they before?

You just have to associate the files to what they were before.

I doubt it will harm your game play.

They werent anything, they were unreadable files, that you just drag into the downloads folder

Well, if you have SimPE, you can associate them to that. That how mine are.

But, I seriously doubt you'll harm your game. At all.

Have you tried playing?

Hi^^
If you've changed them into sims2packs you'll need to open them and click install - they need to be DBPF package files to be readable by the game I think.

Also I don't think you're meant to post Help questions here;
