Okay so I have it, tried reinstalling it, but nothing helps. I still get the message that tells me I gotta have directx 9.

I remember running into this problem and fixing it.. but I forgot how I did it. Help please!

I still get this message on loading. But the game IS loaded behind, and I can play. I have the latest version of Direct X and XP, all EPs.

If you both haven't done so already, have you tried rebooting your computers?  Usually that helps when the problem arises.  The cause of this is most likely due to lack of system resources.  (aka. available system/virtual memory)  :angel:

Fixed it on my puter by turning off the XP screensaver! wierd but it works....
