Please try to resist the urge to make duplicate threads pertaining to the same exact problem. ;) If you have an update related to the very same issue of your first thread, make sure you update the first thread instead before making a new one.
Are you absolutely sure you have no other hacks within any of your Sims 2 folders? It sounds to me like you have the exact same problem I had... which happened to be that of a pond water replacement mod that became severely outdated as soon as Seasons was installed. It was made by Targa over at MTS2. You might want to check your game for any of those particular files. :angel:

It can also be a problem with your video card, that it isn't strong enough. You may have to live without snow.
Try taking all your CC out, create a new hood, with just one new house, set the seasons to all round winter so that you get snow quicly, and see what happens. If it is still flashing blue, it's probably your video card. What card are you using?
