Buying Clothes is a Waste of Money...

(1/1)

kinnika:
So, let me start off by telling you I have a ton of CC clothing (some are outfits that go from teen to elder) and I have the Insimenator installed, so I have the ability to buy clothing on the Sims' residential lot.

The other day, I was trying to buy some clothing for Goth and when I found some clothing (that I assumed was the clothing I downloaded for all ages), I bought them all. And yes, I am for sure it was in the elder category. Well, when I had him "Plan Outfit", I found that none of those clothes were added to his closet - only two things out of the eight or nine I got for him. So, how do I get these extra items that work for the adult out of the elder category if they obviously can't be bought (One polo seems to work that is usually for adult - so why don't the other clothes)? Do I have to go through each item - maybe buy all of them and see which ones work and go into Sim PE?

Hassle, hassle, lol.

Hope I explained that all right.

Not a solution for the particular clothes you are having problems with, but perhaps a help for the money situation.

You can use this hang-on-the-wall hacked dresser to shop for outfits for free:

Or you can use the family funds cheat to add back in specific money amounts which have seemingly gone off into neverland:

familyFunds familyname amount

For example:

familyFunds Smith +94

will add 94 simoleans to the Smith family's total.

The familyFunds cheat, IIRC, requires you have Nightlife installed.

kinnika:
Hey, thanks for the money cheats, rwills.

I do have the Budget Adjuster - but thanks anyway from one Resident Evangelist to another. Gives me other options.

That's a really good one rwills. I've been using that for a long time and it works wonderfully.

kinnika:
Anyone else on the elder clothing and what I could do?
