This may be the wrong section, but I couldn't find a regular sims 2 help section, so I just put it here.

How do you get your sims to wake with nightmares? I'm sure that they need to have had bad memories lately and a low aspiration, but is there an ep I need?

I believe all that's needed for nightmares is overall mood in the red.  The more red it is, the more likely the nightmares.

My sim children have nightmares if their relationship with the parents are low. That is coupled with being low in aspiration or in the red. They go hand in hand. Cheesy
